Fellowship Program Application [MS Word]
Application Process for Current Duke Clinical Fellows
For fellows who are currently enrolled in a clinical training
fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, the application
deadline is April 1 each year for the upcoming
academic year (starting July 1).
Applications must be jointly developed by the applicant and their primary research mentor ("category A" DCRI Faculty) and should detail the funding arrangement, didactic training, and research plan for each fellow. The research mentor must approve the final application before submission.
Submit applications and accompanying documents (e.g., CV)
via e-mail by April 1 to:
patsy.clifton@duke.edu
All applications will be reviewed by the DCRI Fellowship Program Directors. Applicants will be notified of application modification requests or final application approval by May 1.
Application Process for Outside Applicants
For fellows who are not currently enrolled in a clinical training fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, the applications process varies based upon a number of factors including available training slots, the funding arrangement with the outside institution, visa processing deadlines, and sponsorship by "Category A" faculty member from a research group at DCRI.
Outside fellows who are potentially interested in DCRI research fellowship position should contact Patsy Clifton at patsy.clifton@duke.edu prior to completing an application.
