| The DCRI has unmatched experience in conducting
cardiovascular clinical trials. The DCRI Cardiovascular
Devices Unit applies that extensive acumen to the nuances and
special requirements of cardiovascular device studies, providing
a customized, full-service research partnership for any project,
from preclinical studies to pivotal Phase III/IV and postapproval
trials.
Our world-renowned faculty bring integrity and credibility
to each research project. All clinical faculty have appointments at Duke University Medical Center and have published in peer reviewed journals. Our Cardiovascular Devices Unit uses an effective and agile team-based approach, emobided by one dedicated, expert point of contact for any size project.
To date, the unit has completed
more than 50 successful, innovative study designs incorporating
a range of regulatory requirements for interventional and
medical device trials.
Because of our experience and expertise, the Cardiovascular
Devices Unit can provide critical guidance and support on
the unique challenges of devices trials, including evolving
regulatory requirements and rapid recruitment of eligible
patients.
